Universal Music editará la banda sonora, compuesta por Mychael Danna, del drama biográfico The Man Who Invented Christmas (2017) dirigido por Bharat Nalluri y protagonizado por Dan Stevens, Christopher Plummer y Jonathan Pryce.
Charles Dickens es el creador de la clásica fábula A Christman Carol, en octubre de 1843. A pesar de su éxito, sus tres últimos libros supusieron un auténtico fracaso. Todos sus editores acabaron rechazándole, por lo que sacó el mismo una nueva obra para paliar las dificultades económicas por las que estaba pasando. Esta película cuenta cómo la novela de Dickens hizo que las navidades se convirtieran en una fiesta familiar.
