Sony Classical editará la banda sonora, compuesta por Thomas Newman, de la comedia dramática The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel (2015) que ha dirigido John Madden y protagonizado Judi Dench, Maggie Smith, Bill Nighy, Dev Patel, Celia Imrie, Ronald Pickup, Penelope Wilton, Richard Gere y David Strathairn.
Es el sueño expansionista de Sonny y le exige más tiempo del que dispone, teniendo en cuenta su inminente matrimonio con el amor de su vida, Sunaina.
