La-La Land Records expande y remasteriza Chaplin de John Barry
Junto con los lanzamientos de finales del año pasado, La-La Land Records nos trae este 2023 la expansión y remasterización de una de las últimas joyas del gran John Barry para el biopic Chaplin (1992), dirigida por Sir Richard Attenborough y protagonizada por Robert Downey Jr, Anthony Hopkins, Geraldine Chaplin, Kevin Kline, Marisa Tomei, Diane Lane, Dan Aykroid y Milla Jovovich.
Nominada a tres premios Oscar (destacando su intérprete, un genial Robert Downey Jr. y la música de Barry), la partitura musical del británico constituye una de las últimas joyas de la etapa final del compositor, incluyendo toda la paleta musical sinfónico-melódica del músico, pero conjugándolo magistralmente con material preexistente musical de Charles Chaplin, dándole un toque musical que va desde el drama a la comedia pasando por el romanticismo.
Esta versión se ve finalmente expandida sobre la versión preexistente anterior (una que, sea dicho de paso, adquirí en los 90 a buen precio y que quedó quemada de tanto escuchar), y como no, también remasterizada.
Limitada a 3.000 copias y al precio de 21,98$, una joya de la década de los 90 que vuelve en todo su esplendor con esta expansión remasterizada. Imprescindible.
