La-La Land Records expande Spider-Man 2 de Danny Elfman
Siguiendo la jugada de The Godfather (El Padrino, 1973), la discográfica La-La Land Records ha expandido la partitura de Danny Elfman para la secuela Spider-Man 2 (2004), de nuevo con Sam Raimi a la cabeza y con un reparto donde repiten muchos de los actores de la anterior entrega como Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst , J.K. Simmons, James Franco o Rosamery Harris, añadiéndose al gran Alfred Molina como el villano de la función, Octopus.
Siguiendo al trio amoroso y de amistad que forman Maguire-Dunst-Franco, el Doctor Octopus entra en liza poniendo como siempre en riesgo al personal, y suponiendo un nuevo desafío para Peter Parker, aka Spider-Man.
Vuelve Elfman, y vuelve como siempre, enérgico y con ganas, desarrollando y expandiendo el universo musical de la primera entrega, con más potencia y poderío, incrementando la épica, aunque aquí contó con la pequeña ayuda a través de música adicional de Christopher Young y John Debney (la agenda de Elfman con Tim Burton le demandaba y se tuvo que recurrir a estos magistrales compositores).
Esta edición de tres discos, como sucediese con la primera entrega, ofrece toda la partitura al completo, más bonus tracks de todo tipo, añadiendo el album comercial editado en su época, todo ello limitado a 3.000 copias y al precio de 39,98$. Un Gran Poder conlleva una Gran Responsabilidad. Así que ya sabes… Gran Adquisición.
