La-La Land edita Goldsmith at 20Th VOL V: Music for Television 1969-1978
La discográfica La-La Land Records ha editado Goldsmith at 20Th VOL V: Music for Television 1969-1978, nuevo volumen dedicado de la música del maestro Jerry Goldsmith, donde nos encontramos con un selecto grupo de trabajos que el californiano compuso para la 20th Century Fox durante su periplo por la televisión.
Algunos de estos trabajos ya disponían de edición discográfica en FSM (como Room 22, A Girl Named Sooner o A Tree Grows in Brooklyn) o Varèse Sarabande (la mítica caja de la 20th Century Fox, con Anna and the King incluida en aquella fantástica edición), pero algunos otros ven por primera vez la luz a nivel discográfico (los pilotos televisivos de Only in America y Prudence and the Chief), donde este volumen se convierte ya en un obligado para los que amamos la música de Goldsmith.
Todo ha sido restaurado y remasterizado, y en algunos casos incluso nos encontramos con música expandida, como es el caso de Anna and the King o A Tree Grows in Brooklyn.
Abarcando una época fecunda que va de 1968, el año de The Planet of the Apes (El Planeta de los Simios) y que alcanza 1976, donde tenemos esa animalada llamada The Wind and the Lion (El Viento y el León), esta edición se encuentra limitada a 2.000 copias y al precio de 26,98$, y conociendo lo ANSIAS que somos algunos, esta edición no debería tardar en desaparecer. IMPRESCINDIBLE. Es una auténtica JOYA, con trabajos a descubrir por primera vez. ¿Se puede pedir más?
