Dragon’s Domain Records edita Exterminator 2 de David Spear
La discográfica Dragon’s Domain Records, en colaboración con Buysoundtrax, ha editado la partitura de David Spear para la película de acción Exterminator 2 (El Exterminador 2, 1984), dirigida por Mark Buntzman, y protagonizada por Robert Genty, Mario Van Peebles, Deborah Geffner, Frankie Faison y John Turturro.
En cuanto al argumento de esta secuela, nos encontramos contra un veterano de la guerra de Vietnam que ejercerá como justiciero en su lucha contra la delincuencia en la ciudad de Nueva York, eso si, ocultando su rostro con un casco de soldador y achicharrando al personal con un lanzallamas.
Esta edición ofrece dos CDs, uno con el álbum y otro con la partitura tal como nos la encontramos en la película, siendo la misma una composición electrónica, muy deudora de los dos 80, y que hará las delicias de los que amamos aquel tipo de música, como ya se puede escuchar en los rítmicos títulos de inicio.
Limitada a 500 copias y al precio de 21,95$, una edición de un título típico de los 80 de la mano de un compositor, David Spear, que fue habitual colaborador de Elmer Bernstein, y que gracias a Dragon’s Domain Records y Buysoundtrax estamos pudiendo disfrutar a través de la edición de varias de sus obras.
